I AM

The I Am series encompasses a collection of twelve portraits dedicated to children. Each painting portrays a real story, depicting children from diverse countries within a vibrant and contrasting world. These paintings serve as a tribute to the rights of children. Sadly, for many children, their future seems engulfed in an unfathomable abyss, devoid of any escape. Through my art, I strive to convey the message that every action we take holds significance.

History should never be taken for granted; it demands scrutiny, encompassing both its beauty and its atrocities. We learn from it and progress, ensuring that children, regardless of their backgrounds, skin color, or place of residence, are offered equal opportunities. Gray represents a fusion, a harmonious blend of black and white, creating endless possibilities within that universe. It is about evoking a particular emotion, a mood. Similarly, my use of colours may be repetitive, but when applied in layers on the same canvas, they yield diverse and distinct outcomes.
